Bushcraft Leather Axe Haft Overstrike Protector or Hand Tool Collar (large) Heavy Duty Brown
Made in my workshop in Herefordshire, UK from high quality, hardwearing leather.
This leather collar is designed to wrap around your felling axe or hatchet haft (two sizes available) to protect your wooden axe handle from ‘overstrikes’ and accidental damage.
This leather has been ‘oil treated’ to protect against drying or cracking over time and will age beautifully whilst developing a unique patina.
The collar is simple to install merely requiring lacing into position with the paracord provided. - While serving a practical purpose of protecting your axe handle, the collar also gives your axe or hand tool a rugged ‘outdoors’ look and feel.
Please note: ‘Crazy Horse’ collars are not indestructible and, being lightweight, are designed for light to medium use. We offer these thicker grade, large leather collars for heavier usage on a splitting or felling axe
