I hate throwing things away just because a strap breaks so
I've made a range of 1" wide replacement straps for
hampers, laundry baskets and anything else that needs
a tough well made strap
Top quality 3.5mm thick English leather, carefully cut and finished by hand in our Ludlow, Shropshire workshop. They aren't hugely clever and they don't have millions of pixels or terrabytes but they will keep your washing in - or your luggage nice and secure.
I always use substantial, good quality traditional style nickel plated brass buckles (shiny silver colour).
All straps are 1" wide and securely riveted.
Leatherworking is a funny business - I buy leather by the square foot, but it's thickness is measured in centimetres... Weird eh?
