For many years I've made a range of leather topped three legged stools. The seats are all hand made from 3mm thick veg tan leather.
I'm often asked if I would sell the parts for someone to make their own stool and I'm happy to oblige. The only thing I don't sell are the wooden legs as the ones I use for my own stools are hand made for me by a retired wood turner and supply is limited. That doesn't stop you making your own legs. the specification we work to is: Oak (or occasionally Ash) legs turned to 1.5" diameter x cut to 2ft long drilled at 12" to accept the bolt.
The seats are made to order so you can choose your own colour and central motif. I offer a range of attractive designs. See: https://www.barefootleather.co.uk/leatherworking/sample-leather-tooling-designs
You can choose the colour of your stool top from: saddle tan, dark brown, maroon or antique green.
