This classic style one inch wide guitar strap is fully adjustable (it has a solid brass buckle and top quality brass fittings).and is made from superb, top grain, 'through dyed' black leather and fitted with an adjustable 12" (30cm) long x 2.5" (6cm) wide leather shoulder pad for extra support. I have made and sold literally hundreds of these straps over the years and know they give excellent service.
These very traditional looking guitar straps are a favourite with 'old school' rock & roll musicians and tribute bands as they are lightweight, supple and very strong. The simple design is also popular with classical musicians.
I remember making one of these for a guitarist in South London back in the late 1970s. A very talented and rather spotty teenage lad with a big smile, holes in his jeans and no money. I saw him on the telly last week dressed in an expensive looking white suit, playing a very fancy guitar and sporting a Frank Zappa moustache... how times change eh? Please note: Because of the width of the strap (1 inch wide) the letters I use to customise the 'Pioneer' are 1/2" and not the 1" lettering used on other straps.
By popular request this strap is supplied overlength. It can easily be shortened to suit the individual. (simply use a sharp knife or scissors and keep those fingers out of the way!)
