I hate throwing things away just because a strap breaks so
I've made a range of replacement straps for cat, fishing
picnic or bicycle baskets (or anything else you can think of!)
Top quality 2mm thick English leather, carefully cut and finished by hand in our Ludlow, Shropshire workshop. They aren't hugely clever and they don't have millions of pixels or terrabytes but they will keep your cat in - or your sandwiches nice and secure.
Choose either a solid brass or nickle plated brass buckle - I always use substantial, good quality traditional style buckles.
All straps are 1/2" wide and securely riveted.
Leatherworking is a funny business - I buy leather by the square foot, but it's thickness is measured in centimetres...
